Hoy visitarás la Quebrada de Palala, una espectacular formación rocosa irregular, formada durante muchos años por la intensa erosión de la ladera de la montaña. Después de esto, se dirigirá a El Sillar donde tendrá unos minutos para salir y disfrutar de este espectacular paisaje antes de continuar a través de Nazarenito, una pequeña comunidad minera de oro. Luego nos dirigiremos a visitar Ciudad del Encanto, donde verá impresionantes formaciones rocosas. Luego llegará a San Pablo de Lípez (4250m). Luego iremos a San Antonio de Lípez y finalmente a Quetena, donde pasaremos la primera noche en un Hospedaje Básico.

Today, we will depart early in the morning, around 04:30 and drive for around 1-2 hours with direction to Volcán Uturuncu. We can go with the car until 5300 m.a.s.l. approximately. Around 07:00, we will start our trekking on the volcano which takes around 3 hours to get to the top of the Uturuncu Volcano (6008 m.a.s.l.) and around 2 hours more to go back to the car. Then, we will go to back to Quetena for lunch, arriving approximately at 13:30. After lunch, we will continue our trip crossing two small lagoons, Laguna Hedionda y Laguna Kollpa. Finally, we will arrive to Polques, aguas termales, where we will spend our second night. Here you can swim while appreciate a nice view of the stars.

Nota: The trekking to this volcano is not difficult, but could be a little hard because of the altitude.

Nota: Polques has few accommodations and normally it is quiet difficult to find space there. In case we can not find space in Polques, we will stay in Quetena and visit Polques the next day during the morning.

Early in the morning you can go outside of the accommodation and see an amazing sunrise in the hot springs. After breakfast, we will drive for 15 min to arrive to Desierto de Dalí, un lugar con montañas de colores surrealistas, que recuerdan a las fotos de Salvador Dalí y rocas. formaciones de lava petrificada. After the breakfast, you will leave Huayllajara at 07:30 to go to Desierto de Siloli, we will go to visit the famous Arbol de Piedra, one of the most visited tourist attractions in the area. After visiting Árbol de Piedra, we will drive for a while in order to arrive to Laguna Kara and Laguna Kachi, which are two beautiful andean lagoons. After that, we will go to the north and arrive to Laguna Turquiri or Laguna Negra, where tou will be able to see black andean ducks. Finally, we will cross two small towns, Julaca and Alota in order to arrive to Candelaria, where we will sleep. At the end of the afternoon, we will enter to the Uyuni salt flat to see the sunset there, then we will return to the accommodation.

Note 1: During rainy season (normally from January to April), if the salt flat has a lot of water, we can not stay in Villa Candelaria. From Alota, we will go to Uyuni or Colchani to stay there.

Hoy cruzaremos el inmenso Salar de Uyuni (3650 m.s.n.m.) temprano en la mañana para ver el Amanecer en el Salar de Uyuni Con 12,000 km², el Salar de Uyuni es la llanura de sal más grande del mundo y se extiende en todas direcciones hasta donde alcanza la vista. La profundidad del salar es de 120 metros y con ello es la mayor reserva de minerales como litio, magnesio, potasio, nitrógeno, fósforo y bórax del mundo. Tiene 14 islas pequeñas, la más importante es la Isla Incahuasi. Alrededor de la isla, puedes ver Ojos de Agua, estos son manantiales que actúan como poros de las salinas. Dejando el salar, visitaremos Colchani, el pueblo donde se procesa la sal. Aquí hay varios souvenirs de sal y ropa de lana de alpaca o llama. Finalmente, iremos a ver el Cementerio de Trenes, donde verás muchos trenes antiguos. Luego iremos a la parte central de la ciudad para terminar el recorrido alrededor de la 1-2pm.

Nota: Si deseas terminar en Tupiza, es posible, después de terminar el recorrido en Uyuni, manejaremos alrededor de 3 horas más para llegar a Tupiza.
