For trips with basic accommodations, we requiered a deposit of 50% of the total amount of the trip to confirm the service. For trips with Hotels, the amount of the deposit depends of the itinerary, please contact us to know the exactly amount. The balance in both cases, must be paid before leave on the trip.

If cancellation occurs:



- More than 30 days before the beginning of the tour: 100 % of the deposit will be reimbursed, less bank fees due to money transfer.
- From 7 to 30 days before the beginning of the tour: 50 % of the deposit will be retained, which correspond to pre-payment of some services (accommodations, transport)
- Less than 7 days before departure: 100% of the deposit will be retained.




- More than 40 days before the beginning of the tour: 100 % of the deposit will be reimbursed, less bank fees due to money transfer.
- From 20 to 40 days before the beginning of the tour: 50 % of the deposit will be retained.
- Less than 20 days before departure: 100% of the deposit will be retained.


We can not subscribe to any cancellation insurance; such a contract does not exist in Bolivia. Nevertheless, you can get information with your insurance company.

General conditions:

It is understood that undertaking of and participating in travels, treks, group tours, or any other form of tourism activities, such as expeditions, jungle tours or any other activity arranged by La Torre Tours, involves certain risks and dangers.

These include but are not limited to:


  • - travelling in mountain terrain, on rivers and in forests and jungle;
  • - travel by airplane, car, bus, jeep, boat, canoe, rafts, bicycle, or any other means of conveyance;
  • - accidents or illness in remote regions with little or no medical facilities and without means of paid evacuation;
  • - accidents caused by forces of nature;
  • - changes in itinerary or cancellation of tours/treks or services due to reasons beyond our control.


In consideration of the above La Torre Tours declares that as performer or as intermediary between the participant and the entities or persons called to carry out the tour or service described in the itinerary: tour operators, hotels, restaurants, transport or others, shall not be liable for their deficiencies or failure of these entities. This includes failures such as delays, loss or damages to baggage or goods, seat allocation in any kind of transport or hotel rooms, unexpected cancellation of reservations or any other failure of any kind.

La Torre Tours shall not be held responsible for any delay -and its consequences-, loss, injury or damage to any person or property resulting - directly or indirectly - dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, quarantine, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department restrictions or regulations, or any other causes beyond La Torre Tours’ control. La Torre Tours does not assume liability or responsibility for securing the services of any doctor for any of their tours or services nor is it liable for any medical emergency, evacuation costs, expenses for accident, sickness or death, loss due to theft, or any other reasons incurred by any tour or service participant. Travellers are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. The participation in tours or services organized by La Torre Tours takes place on travellers own responsibility and at their own risk. According to the above, the participant shall not formulate protests of any kind against La Torre Tours.


We require you to have current medical insurance that includes repatriation in the event of a medical emergency (if you pay for your airplane ticket with a VISA card, you will automatically be covered for this. You are advised to confirm this with your bank in advance). If you prefer that La Torre Tours takes out an insurance policy for you, you need to inform us at least two weeks before your tour. If you do not wish to have any insurance, you are required to inform La Torre Tours, and will be required to sign a document releasing the company from any responsibility.



Passports and vaccines: La Torre Tours will not assume the individual responsibilities of each of the participants. Participants should comply with the regulations and formalities of the police, customs and health at all time on the trip. Each participant will also take responsibility for obtaining all the documents required by the authorities of the countries visited. La Torre Tours will not be responsible in cases of delay or a participant being unable to present all their documents in good order. Any expense incurred will be the responsibility of the client. All trips interrupted or cut short by the actions of the participant for whatever reason will not be eligible for reimbursement.



Luggage remains at all times the responsibility of the customer. Do not leave your luggage with the guide or ask him to watch it. He cannot guarantee its safety.


Air Transport 

If your trip is changed due to problems with your flights, La Torre Tours cannot be held responsible. Any resulting expenses remain the responsibility of the client.


Events beyond our control

In the case of external events disturbing the normal operation of the country (e.g. political or social trouble, natural catastrophes, etc) La Torre Tours reserves the right to cancel the trip or to modify the content. In the case of cancellation, part of the deposit will be retained to pay for services already reserved. In the case of modification of the trip, a new estimate of the cost will be provided.

Privacy Policy

This policy covers how we use your personal information. We take your privacy seriously and will take all measures to protect your personal information. Any personal information received will only be used to fill your order. We will not sell or redistribute your information to anyone.


Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, within 120 days from the purchase date, we will refund the cost of your order less the payment for administrative expenses; and less the fee of transferring the money.
